This quarry of limestone like most limestone is very brittle which has no effect as a building stone veneer and like other limestone it is soft compared to other stone. The quarried prices are from 4 to 8 inches in diameter and 4 to 14 inches in length. This stone veneer is more common 2 inches thick from 1 to 2 1/2 inches thick.
The colour is a grey blue colour generally but has areas of intrusions that are almost a peacock green blue sheen to black sheen, another common intrusion is a streak of pale white and often other mineral colour intrusions but mostly one could say grey blue in colour. Being that it is a cut slightly thicker than our other stone veneer it weights about 14 lbs per sq/ft. Corners stones are cut at 90 degree angles and are of the same blue limestone colours in size 4 inches length and width to a maximum of 8 inches in length and width. Corner stones veneer is measured by lineal feet and can be ordered in the acquired amount of lineal feet needed with an order.
Packed conveniently in wire crates of 50 sq/ft, 100sq/ft and 120 sq/ft. Interior and small applications are price by the project.
